THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF BEAUDESERT & HENLEY-IN-ARDEN JOINT PARISH COUNCIL

Policies

Every Parish Council has to abide by the law. For the most part, the legislation is centred around the Local Government Act 1972. Further information on where and how this applies to the community in Beaudesert and Henley can be found in the dropbox on the right. Rules and regulations by which the JPC operate on a daily basis can be found under

MAJOR POLICY DOCUMENTS.

Plans for the future wellbeing of the town can be found in the

NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN,

which is currently reached Reg. 14 and will be presented as Reg. 15, to the residents as part of a full consultation at a public meeting planned for autumn of this year.

Finally, the latest edition of the

EMERGENCY PLAN

is also listed and has been delivered to every household in the locality.

Many of the protocols being updated are contained in a current collective publication known as the Councillor’s Handbook 2020,

those not listed under the Major Policies page, still remain in force until such time as they are updated and listed therein. A copy of the handbook in pdf.file can be provided by request to the Clerk.
