Warwickshire County Council has now finalised its proposal for local government reorganisation.  The decision is to move forward with a single unitary council for the whole of Warwickshire.

The decision was agreed by the full Council on 14 October 2025 and a subsequent Cabinet decision on 6 November 2025, and it sets out the future shape of local services and governance.
