GRASS CUTTING IN HENLEY
The JPC are approached by residents on a regular basis asking why certain areas have not been attended to as part of the town upkeep programme.
The following maps, constructed by Cllr Sandy McCaskie, show areas of responsibility. The JPC employ contractors to cover the areas under their managment, they also monitor where other stakeholders responsibliities are lacking and raise the issue with them directly. Certain areas remain unadopted, such as the perimiter footpaths around the Yew Trees. The Parish Clerk is now committed to working with the Council Members to establish an agreement with their contractors, local authorities and private landowners which is clear and unambiguous to ensure that maintenance is ongoing, and publish such events so that residents are informed.
If you have an issue within the scope of this report, please contact the Clerk – clerk@henley-in-arden-pc.org.uk
