As much as the JPC would have liked opening this wonderful new facility in Riverlands to our children, nature has seen fit to deny access for the time being.

The incessant rain has rendered the surface around the structure inaccessible and the contractors are unable to lay safety matting until the ground has dried out significantly.

We would ask parents to ensure that children are not tempted to ‘have a go’ as conditions are rather dangerous. Full details for the opening event, which it is hoped will occur when restrictions have eased somewhat, will be published on this site and social media.

Fingers crossed for drier weather.
