HENLEY BUSINESS TOURISM INITIATIVE

The JPC are acutely aware just how vital income derived from trade on our High Street and surrounds means for the future life of the town and community.

We have always supported local business but now tourism is becoming a priority issue, we are therefore embracing an initiative launched by Mike Bullard, Butchers Social, calling on all business people and residents in Henley to join in a forum to be held at his premises, Thursday the 12th of September next, 6.00pm, in order that all will have an opportunity to air their views on how and what can be done to improve the present visitor rates to our town.

It will not be solved overnight but with an organised campaign through a new JPC supported tourism website, working with the Town Centres & Tourism Team at Warwickshire County Council and Stratford Tourism, we hope to produce a blueprint that will attract more visitors.

WCC are organising a showcase for local buyers and sellers at Warwick Racecourse on the 24th of September, to promote and encourage this initiative, interested parties should go for more information on www.warwick-food-drink.co.uk

Please join us in this important initiative, it is your opinions that our traders want to hear, don’t let Henley become sedentary town.
