HENLEY PHARMACY UPDATE

Henley Pharmacy – Front Line Dispensary Services

The Pharmacy is operating under severe pressure and would ask that patients collecting prescriptions exercise a little patience during this difficult period by observing and acting upon the following –

  • In order to reduce large numbers of people inside the premises, please queue on the pavement until you are called to go inside for your prescription or any other items you wish to purchase.
  • Whilst every effort to fulfil prescriptions issued by the Medical Centre are paramount, the team at the Pharmacy are 4-5 days in arrears, and would ask that you allow this time interval, when planning to collect repeat prescriptions or, following a medical consultation at the Centre.
  • Although the Pharmacy has a number of volunteers who can deliver prescribed drugs to your door, additional services are now in place, organised by Cllr Elaine Field, JPC, and her team. More help will obviously be required as the number of cases increases. If you wish to be registered for this additional volunteering delivery services, please leave you name and contact details in the comment box below, or email clerk@henley-in-arden-pc.gov.uk who will direct you to the organisers of these home delivery measures.
  • Finally, be aware of your elderly or vulnerable neighbours and take a minute or two to check that they are OK.

Further information and updates will follow in the coming days and weeks, in the meantime observe HM Gov guidelines so that we can return to normal as soon as possible. KEEP WELL.
