TOWN UPKEEP BY LOCALS FOR LOCALS!

The JPC are now enagaging with local small businesses in the tasks designed to keep Henley clean and tidy. Evidence of this is growing and can be seen everywhere.

The JPC thank Gary Power and Horti Henley for the hard work thay have put in and will continue to provide, a  few photos showing such improvements are added below.

Quite apart from maintaining the Town’s assets, Gary has spent many hours clearing away graffiti from public places, replacing refuse bins and other meaningful tasks.

Horti have made huge improvements to many of the public footpaths on the west-side of town,  a duty sometimes overlooked by private landowners or local authorities.

Soon, activities such as those listed herein, will be publicised in a schedule of works on this website for all to see and the Clerk welcomes any reports of damage or overgrown and untidy areas which fall within the JPC remit.
