Following our reports of the sterling work carried out by pupils of the Montessori Primary School in Henley, over summer on the pond at the Medical Centre, we were dismayed to received the following letters, [names withheld]. We are sure, you will all agree that this is a very disappointing outcome to their hard work. The JPC will be reviewing its coverage of this area of the park with a view to implementing added maintenance and any other issues designed to keep the pond in good condition for all to enjoy. Please let us have your comments.
It is fair to say that children throughout Henley, at other schools, embark on similar projects, litter-pick and eco buildings for bugs, to name but two. Their hard work is both heartwarming and practical, we as residents should be very proud of their interest in our surroundings.
