Dear Parish Clerk

This is just a reminder that the close of nominations for the Parish Elections is 4 pm on 4 April. As previously advised, nominations should ideally be with us by close of business on Monday 3 April so that any corrections can be made before the deadline. I’m sure you have this well in hand.

Thank you to those Parish Clerks that have already submitted the forms for their candidates.

Should your Parish Council not be quorate at the end of the process, there will be a further parish election on 22 June 2023. For those that are in this position, their Parish Council will not be able to operate after 9 May until it has a quorum. Once it has a quorum, it can co-opt to fill any remaining vacant seats.
