Incidents of a public interest from the last week:-

COUGHTON

  • *Theft. Sambourne Lane, Coughton. Battery and accessories stolen from electric fencing of field. Overnight 24th & 25th March. 0198 25/03/2020

STUDLEY

  • *Suspicious Circumstances. Red Hill Close, Studley. Three people wearing dark clothing seen in the close trying car doors. 1.25am Saturday 28th March. 0050 28/03/2020
  • *Vehicle Crime. Eldorado Close, Studley. Car entered and wallet stolen. Bank cards have then tried to be used. Overnight 27th & 28th March. 0049 28/03/2020
  • *Suspicious Circumstances. Mallard Road, Studley. Male seen hanging around near to cars in the road. Area search made by police. No trace. No offences disclosed at the time. 12.45am Wednesday 25th March. 0007 25/03/2020
  • *Theft. Store, Alcester Road, Studley. Three males have entered the store. They have then walked out with two baskets full of items without offering payment. The baskets were the type with wheels and long handles. They have been followed by staff along to the Redditch Road where the offenders have left the a basket and made their escape. 11.25am Tuesday 24th March. 0128 24/03/2020
  • *Vehicle Interference. Archer Close, Studley. Door lock of works van attacked. Entry not gained. Nothing stolen. Between 20th & 23rd March. 0172 23/03/2020

HENLEY

  • *Vehicle Crime. High Street, Henley. Two males seen trying to steal a ‘whacker’ from a works van in the street. They have been chased by the workers and as a result they dropped the item and made off in a silver Ford Focus or similar vehicle. 2.45pm Thursday 26th March. 0201 26/03/2020

TANWORTH

  • *Burglary. Broad Lane, Tanworth. Garage broken into. Between 22nd & 24th March. 0064 27/03/2020
  • *Suspicious Circumstances / Theft. Penn Lane, Tanworth. Occupants of a Silver vehicle seen trying to steal a sheep. Registration was foreign. Occupants described as four young Asian males. Vehicle then seen on the A435 with a sheep in the back of the car. Further calls indicate that the vehicles involved were a Silver Ford Mondeo and a dark coloured Vauxhall. 2pm Tuesday 24th March. 0197 24/03/2020
