The developers applied to SDC to NOT have to carry out and EIA (Enviornmental Impact Assessment) for the site prior to a planning application. This has been agreed by SDC which means that planning can be sought much earlier.

Proposal: Screening opinion for proposed development for up to 300 residential units, including affordable homes, with associated infrastructure, including new site access, landscaping and public open space.
